NEWS ‘HE WILL BE MISSED County mourns passing of County Clerk Kunkel ’ By Jeff Hovind Merrill Courier Lincoln County Clerk Bob Kunkel died Wednesday near his Merrill home where he was recovering from heart surgery. Many co-workers at the county administration building were in a state of shock as the sad news circulated around the county as the Courier went to press Wednesday. So far, so good Sam Arneson uncoks a pass as Bluehay Football team opened the season at Lakeland. Merrill returned home with a convincing 28-15 win.
